1916.9.87 Name and identification of character Possibly a Tamil, demala miniha (Sin.). Context The story portion in Kolam. Material Wood, Vel-kaduru (Nux vomica). Iconography A low-cut turban in two tiers. The paint has been grossly applied. Lines in red and black are drawn on the turban. The paint on the face appears to have been rubbed. Red and yellow pigments have been mixed. The nose is flat and signs of scraping are noticed on it. The mouth is small and closed. The eyes are roughly cut. The ears are elongated. 2000 07 08 Dr. M.
