  • Main library Metso is one of Tampere’s most famous landmarks. Unique building is located in Hämeenpuisto park in central Tampere. It is one of the most frequently visited libraries in Finland.

    Metso was designed by architect couple Raili and Reima Pietilä. It is an example of organic architecture. From above the building looks like a wood grouse with its mating display.
