0269 April the 22nd 1931. To lr. 5. Yamanaka, Head of Yameanakea & Company, 127, New Bond Street, London, W.1. Dear Hr. Yamanaka, During your visit to Stockholm you kindly mentioned that there may be certain possibllitles of getting the large Japanese private collections opened to visitors during a fixed limited period of the yeer, possibly most easily in the spring. It goes witnout saying that all archaeologists an art-students in Europe as well as in America who are interested in the Far East will profit very considerebly from suck an arrangement. For my personal part I hope to FER to visit Japan in a near future and would appreciate immensely when given an oppertunity to see the magnificent collections in the hands of your private collectors: =: Ve will certainly all be deeply indebted to you for any arrangement trat you are able to make in order to make the sseid collections available to students. vita kindest regarås, very simcerely yours
