Tankard with wide almost straight neck, handle from rim to shoulder, globular body with a slight carination at the midpoint. Pale yellow, hard and porous fabric with thin matt, dark gray slip which varies to red in spots. Painted decoration in thick black, on the neck consisting of horizontal bands composed of closely-set straight lines with some wawy lines between. The bands are broken at the front by a group of four parallel straight vertical lines. Half of the body is painted with large cross-hatched vertical panels between parallel lines.
