  • Moulded male head; oval face; straight hair, combed downwards, indicated by striations; almond shaped eyes; faintly smiling mouth; dimple in the chin; the back part is smoothed and taller than the front, forming a ridge at junction between front and back. Light red clay; reddish yellow slip.

  • Purchased in 1958 from G. De Parri (the landowner of the excavated area) by the intermediary of the Swedish Institute at Rome and with a grant from King Gustaf VI Adolf.
Condition <itemDescription>
  • Large part of base missing. Ridge and tip of the nose chipped. Root marks. Burn marks (?).
