  • Moulded, rectangular fragment of inscriptional frieze. White paste (10YR 8/2), entirely glazed with turquoise-blue glaze and with highlights of cobalt blue overglaze painting on the letters. The tile is divided into two horizontal fields. In the lower field, a moulded inscription (mîr al-âsfaha .. al-), in the upper field, moulded vegetal ornamentation. Turquoise-blue glaze, highly iridescent.
