A water bird, facing right, is framed by a rectangular border made of two rows of dark-grey and brown tesserae and two rows of creamy-white to light green tesserae. One row of light brown tesserae at the lower edge of the emblema indicates that the preserved border is incomplete. Two rows of tesserae in the background follow the shape of the figure, resembling the vermiculatum technique. The background consists of creamy-white tessereae. The birds head and outline of the body is made by dark grey and brown to black stones. The bird has four bands of dark and light brown, pink and white tesserae across the chest. Same colours are used in its right wing. Two stripes of white tesserae run down the body, tail and leg. Beek and feet are rendered with light brown tesserae and the eye is indicated with a white stone. Front part of the beak and feet have small, triangular tesserae. Grey stones fill out the rest of the body. The technique is a mix of opus tesselatum och opus vermuculatum.
