Red clay; red wash; black glaze; added red and white. Mouth and inside of neck black; rim top red; on neck double palmettes, inscribed in black arcs and separated by a row of circles, alternating with double lotus buds – added red, incisions; outside of handles painted; inscribed, black and red tongues on shoulder; A: one male and one female figure (Dionysos and Ariadne?) in a chariot drawn by four horses, led by Hermes (partly hidden by the horses), behind the horses Apollon with kithara and a maenad – added red and white, incisions; B: a horse and a youth holding two spears, flanked by two male figures; below and on both sides of handles four connected palmettes with tendrils and lotus buds; base line below figures and a meander to the right between lines; further below a row of connected lotus buds between lines; base rays; red band around junction between body and base; base black.
