Särskilda stolar och pallar har sedan länge använts vid förlossningar. De blev utgångspunkt för konstnären Nina Bondesons bidrag i utställningen. I sin konst bearbetar och tillverkar hon föremål för att nära funderingar och fantasier. Här, i förbindelse med museets barnmorskeväska, gavs en gammal stol från en second hand-butik nytt uttryck och bemålades med bilder. [Grejen med Göteborg, 2021]

Special chairs and stools have long been used for childbirth. They were the basis of artist Nina Bondesson's contribution to the exhibition. In her art she transforms and makes objects to nuture thoughts and fantasies. Here, in connection with the museum's midwife's bag, an old chair from an second hand shop was given a new expression and painted with pictures. [The Thing about Gothenburg, 2021]
