I am glad to know that you agree with me in the necessity of strict economy in our printing and practical measures are being taken toward this end. I highly appreciate your effort in negociating with Prof. Wiman for the return of specimens and the sympathetic altitude of the Crown Prince and Prof. Karlgren in this matter. I hope that Prof. Wiman will come to realize not only the well founding of my claims but also that I am doing all this always in a spirit friendly to Sino-Swedish cooperation.
