Dear Sir; While I was in Pekin last year I purehased a pair of silver covered bowls gold inlaid that had been excavated from a tomb in Mongolia and was given to understand by Dr. Herb Mueller of Pekin,that Dr. Karlbeck of your museum had secured a few pieces from The same tomb a few years previously and these are on exhibit in your museum. I would be very pleased if you would send me photographs and discription of the pieces you have in your museum,as I would like to make eomparisons with The pieces I have. By this mail inder separate cover I am sending you photographs of one of the pieces that I have,one is the bowl with cover on it,one is the inside of the bowl, and the other is the top of cover. This will give you an idea of what I mean.If you have any diseription of your pieces written up in bulletin or pamphlet form,if you would be kind enough to mail same to me,with bill I will reimburse you for them.
