I can quite imagine how Dr. Falmony and Mr. Klarlbeck kept you busy -. I think you tock them te see Carl!'s mother!'s cCellection, did you not? Did Mr. Carlbeck take any of his mirrörs to America? I have alttetter tb Dr. Sootill and wrote him once to Oxford, but he was too far away frem The Node for me to get inte communication with him. Yes, Mrs, Holmes is up to her ears,as usual, with her social reund and enjoying it in a way I marvel at. I Can grasp any ameunt of work in my mindts eye, but am not able to visvalise large Crowus at close quarters,. I am sorry you are not coming over this year, but it will be something to look forward te in the coming summer. gp I have been adding te my Scythian collection, some Very interesti pieces. It is the part of my collectien, I think, which interests me most. Of course I would have no smallest objectien tå you or your friend Professor Anderson putting any ef them that interested you in your bock. I am delighted you are taking up your lecture werk, and I am sure you will make a great success of it. You must tell me more abou it later, I am just back from Berne, where I have been taking treatment under a very fine and unusual doctör. He has done me a worla ef good and I am returning again for the month of August, so also have te go back for another month some time next Autumn or Winter, but I äv net in the least mind, as he seems to be the only docter that has been able te restore me at all to health. Mannin is returning from Rome and is coming to us for a visit.
