Ol? Stockholm, January 12, 1938. Sir Herbert Ingram Bt., gGirenceoster Dear fir Herbert, I wieh to thank you for your two letters of January Uth and Gth. I was much interested by yur information that two bronzes in my new book now belong to you. You indicate only the number of one of them, the Teun 723. At the time when I wrote my book 1t belonged to Mr. Karlbeck, who did not wish his name mentioned, whence my expression "a private collection". I try, as far as possible, to keep trace of where the bronzes go from him — since he is an art dealer - but I was not aware of the subsequent fate of this bronze. Otherwise, I would of course bave been anxious to add the informatio about the collection in which it had found a permanent place. I shall be very happy to be allowed to see your bronzes next sime I come to Londong, Any photographs which you will be kind enough to send me, will be highly appreciated and form a valuable addition to our archives. If I can be of any service in the interpretation of the inseriptions, I shall certainly be glad to do my best. Thanking you once more, I remain Yours sincerely
