The closest comparison of excavated pins I find come from Bard-i Bal, Iron 1, with some similar geometric decor but different top and somewhat shorter. Vanden Berghe has also excavated slightly similar pins from Kalleh Nisar that he dates Akkadian, but several details are different and the pins are much shorter. More or less similar pins, dating to the early first millennium B.C. have also been excavated in Tepe Giyan. Pins in collections are illustrated best in the Moorey publication.
