  • Cast. Axe-head with spiked butt. Cylindrical shaft with four double ribs terminating at the back in long pointed spikes joined by vertical ridge. Blade springs from the three top ridges sloping down to a convex cutting edge, with rounded bottom edge and blade swinging down.
