Description <itemDescription>
  • Mould-made head of male figure, probably a reclining Dionysos or Hades. Oval face with low forehead and long beard. Face framed by a thin arch of hair, slightly massed over the ears. On top of the head an ornate stephane with a raised, central portion and slightly projecting lower edge. No back. Semi-fine, very pale yellowish-brown fabric with fine gold mica. Traces of white slip.
