Description <itemDescription>
  • Mould-made head of male figure. Probably Dionysos or Hades. Oval face with high forehead framed by a thin arch of hair. On top of the head an ornate stephane with a raised central portion and a row of circular beads along its lower edge. Unmodelled, flattened back. Fine, pale reddish-brown fabric with fine gold mica. White slip. Very faint traces of red paint on face.
