Round mouth with everted rim; short, wide neck; rounded body with heavy wall; vertical double handle with shouldering and large “Knot of Herakles” as thumb-grip; short stem; ring base in two degrees; central nipple on underside. Pinkish to pale brown clay; black glaze; red wash; added white and yellow paint. Reserved band on rim; laurel wreath encircling neck; on body the head of Nike facing left, wearing a decorated sakkos, a radiate stephane and a necklace, her wings visible on either side of the head – added white and yellow marking details; she is flanked by coiling tendrils; large palmette fan beneath; below three black bands; stem reserved; black band on inner side of base.
