Iconography
The head-dress is in the shape of a crown denoting a relic chamber, dagäba (Sin.), with a pinnacle at the crest. It is in three tiers, the lowest being two parts joined together. The pinnacle is symbolic of a crest of a dagäba in dome-shape. All the tiers are exquisitely decorated in common designs. Pink and yellow are the prominent base colours. The upper part of the head band is decorated with petal design, palapeti (Sin.), and the lower part with geometric line designs, and coloured in reddish brown. Hair stretches downwards along the two cheeks in the form of whiskers. The face is lemon green. The mouth is closed and the lips are painted in pink. The ears are sculpted without earrings. One ear is broken.
