Her work includes The National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic., The Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh and other regional theatres in the U.K. performing in many plays of the classic Irish repertoire: 'The Playboy Of The Western World', 'The Shadow Of A Gunman' , 'The Plough And The Stars' , 'Juno And The Paycock' , 'The End Of The Beginning' , 'Bedtime Story', 'The Midnight Court', 'Translations' , 'Dancing At Lughnasa' ,'The Cripple Of Inishmaan' and 'The Beauty Queen Of Leenane'. She played Countess Markievizc in Rouge, Rifles and Revolvers (about the 1916 Easter Uprising) at The Riverside Studios, The Mammy in a production of 'Lovin' Daniel' (about the singer Daniel O'Donnell) and The Mother Superior in Phyllis McMahon's autobiographical play 'Divorcing God'. Nora has devised and performed shows celebrating James Joyce, Ulysses and 'Bloomsday' at various Irish Arts Centres in London and Liverpool. She has also taken her one-woman poetry show 'Going West' to the Prague Fringe Festival. She is a member of The Irish Literary Society (founded by W.B.Yeats ) and frequently reads poetry & prose from various Irish writers - both from the past to the present day to illuminate the lectures."
