Cleaning and conservation report. D-nr 16454012, 950725 . Corrosion: Dirty with sand and other soil particles. Dirt (white clay type) is mostly accumulated in grooves. Most surface is very smooth ( represents the original surface ), almost polished, has unevenly dark brown color. On top, especially in grooves, spots of very thin, dark green corrosion. Corrosion layer has been partially scraped off recently. Complete, strong metallic core, no active corrosion. Treatment: cleaned mechanically with scalpel, bristle brush and small soft rotating iron brush on motor. Surface is polished with a soft bristle brush using a small amount of beeswax.
