dä, Östasiatiska Samlingarna, Sveavägen 65, Stockholm, Sweden. October 19th, 1927 WePerceval Yetts Esq., 4, Aubrey Road, Campåen Hill, W. 8, London. Dear Mr. Yettg: Thark you very much for the kind note which you sent me during my stay in Italy. Wnen I came back to Stockholm the 23rd of Septem- ber, Mr. Eumorfopoulos was already here, as the guest of the Crown Prince, and I had the very great pleasure of having him nearly two full days in our museum which, alas, at that time lookeå only as a store-house. In many cases it was quite im- possible to give the distinguished visitor an adecquate idea about our prehistoric material, a fourth of which ig still unpacked, because of the necessity of carefully preserving the material immeéiately after the unpackirg of the same. However, I am glad to say that Mr. Zumorfopoulos was able to see some of ojr stuff, and in addition he was kind enough to promise to return to Stockholm to review the material as soon as it is properly arranged. In addition to all other kindness, Mr. BEumorfopoulos has written to the Crown Prince offering us the splendid present of his beautiful catalogue. Considering that our funds for book buying are very limited we could not afford to buy this very expensive publication, so you will understand how grateful I am to Mr. Ewunorfopoulos for this splendid Conation, and I take the liberty of extending my sincere thanks also to you, who, as I have learned, will contribute a most essential part of this catalogue. I will write you from time to time: telling about the progress in our museum. Ås soon as our things are in tolerably good order we will be anxious to show the material to you. As Mrs, Carter probably told you we plan to arrange a meeting next sumer, of experts in East Asiatic archeology, to see our material. As soon as our plans have taken more dåefinite shape I will communicate with you. With most respectful thanks, Yours very truly,
