Head belonging to a lifesize statue. Softly triangular head with slightly smiling mouth following the curve of the chin. Rather thin, rounded lips. Ridged eyebrows, lancet-shaped eyes with long tearducts, slightly tilted towards the nose. Long, slender, pointed nose with flaring, carved nostrils. High cheekbones. Smooth, vertical brow. Wearing high diadem/kalathos with dancing figures alternating with double rosettes (one on top of the other). The figures have bent knees, with legs depicted in profile and torso en face, arms stretched upwards, with joining hands; wearing knee-long tunics with belts. Below the kalathos is one row of kymation ornament, and one row of spiral hair-curls. In front of each ear is a thick twisted curl with upturned end. A mass of wavy hair at back of head. Large earrings with pendants. Traces of necklaces.
