Neck amphora. Torus shaped rim; carinated neck - upper part wider than lower one, both parts concave; plastic ring marks transition from neck to shoulder; ribbed, triple handles - middle part broader than outer ones - from neck to shoulder; sloping shoulder; almost piriform body; spreading base. Red, Attic clay; black glaze, partly misfired; added red paint; incisions. Inside of neck, rim, upper part of neck exterior, handles and large parts of body and base coated black; lower part of neck decorated with chain of lotuses and palmettes, incised details, added red paint, reserved background; tongue pattern on top of both trapezoidal panel on shoulder - on one side an octopus, on the other an anchor; two reserved bands on body; thin base rays; base edge and bottom reserved.
