Turned-out rim; slightly flaring neck; two vertical strap handles from neck to shoulder; elongated ovoid body; flaring foot. Decoration (in dark brown to red paint): the upper side of the turned-out rim is painted with a zig-zag pattern, the underside with six thin horizontal lines; on neck a reclining s-pattern below which an area with two rows of thin triangles bordered by three horizontal lines both above and below; on handles four vertical lines with four horizontal ones at each attachment; on shoulder a wavy band with dotted contours; above and below the bandgroups of straight and curved swastikas and rosettes; low border of reclining s-pattern with three horizontal lines above and below; cross-hatched border with reserved meander hooks, below which are three horizontal lines; the main decoration consists of a row of eight painted fishes with a plain, buff background, fins marked on back, belly and tail; dotted eyes in the reserved heads; below the fish is a border of ten birds of airone-type with elongated bodies, backwards-curving necks, small heads with long beaks; rosettes as filling ornaments; two horizontal lines above and below the birds; on lower body two tiers of standing rays separated by three thin horizontal lines; on foot nine thin, tightly grouped horizontal lines, above these two broad bands; edge of foot painted. Buff clay.
