Detached page from a Shah-u-Gada manuscript. Scene showing the prince in his kitabkhane, inviting the darwîsh to participate. Indoor scene the prince and a man under the iwan in the center, between them a binding two pencils and an inkwell. The two central personnages are surrounded by other people, two of them writing and one seem to be staping a leatherbinding. The ones to the right are just on-lookers and among them the darwîsh, dressed in dark greyish brown in contrast to the bright colors of the rooms walls (tiles) and the mens dresses and turbans. Verso, two columns of nine lines of nasta’liq, center a frame with one line written diagonally. Rigid paper album.
