This is an automated door that separates the warehouse from the factory floor. In the warehouse it is often dead quiet but once the door is opened by someone who is entering or simply walking by the silence is disturbed by all the different noises from the factory. In one way it is the door between two different soundscapes that intermingle via the humans who open it.
