Male statue made in two halves standing on a small base. The statue is handmade, the face is moulded and touched up. Left foot in front of the right. Modelled toes. Sloping shoulders. Male statue made in two halves standing on a small base. The statue is handmade, the face is moulded and touched up. Left foot in front of the right. Modelled toes. Sloping shoulders. Left arm vertical, separately fixed to shoulder. Left hand holds a circular object. Right arm is bent over breast holding a small goat in the closed hand. Tapering, concave neck, ovoid head. Well modelled mouth with full lips. Straight, rather short nose with thickened tip. Prominent, semi-lunar eyes with raised lids. Feathered, straight eyebrows. Somewhat sloping forehead. Modelled ears with double earrings. Hair with concave sides falling in a compact mass at back of head. Head is covered by a thick “turban” with incised network. Dressed in a short-sleeved, knee-long chiton; overfold with side-flaps and ridged folds below. Hair and eyebrows painted black, traces of red colour on face, traces of black and red lines on upper body. Brown clay, brown slip.
