His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Sweden, acting quite independently has written to Janse suggesting that I may 80 to Indo-China and I think Janse may have spoken to you sbout my eventual coming. I want to mention this because our Crown Prince as you know is quite a profound scholar in Par Esstern archssology and art history and it gåves me speciel pleasure to report how anxious he is to see me working for some time under your distnänished leadership. I am bringing with me my Becretary and field assistant Miss Vivian Dorf who travelled with me in Eastern Tibet and rendered excellent service egpecially as artist and photographer. She speaks French well and I speak it poorly - still - I understand spoken French and read it fluently so please favour us with using your own beautiful language when we meet.
