Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: Probably 17th century. Description: Pale amber-coloured horn. On exterior, decor partly in open-work of landscape with goats and a shepherd. Handle in shape of a wu-t’ung tree. On plain side an inscription: “Wen Chi made it”. Base somewhat grinded. Measures: H. 87mm L., at lip 122mm, at base 45mm. Purchased: In London 1961 at Marchant. £ 28-0-0. Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2336.
