T thank you for your kind dedication, I shall be very glad to publish your announced papers in our Bulletin. Te have here in the Survey Library a series of photographs of föregin geologists who have worked in fhina, but we have none yet from you who have contributed so mich to the aävancemen" of Chinese geologsy and so intimely associated with - our work. I shall much appreciate a signed photo from you. Besides the work in the Survey, IT have been working with Mr. Chow in editing the Bulletin of the neolocical Society of China which grows avic"ly in size and contains many papers of high scientific interest. I shall be glad to receive any geological paner from you for that Pulletin if you have still time to think of your old seologicel observations besides your archeological work. Dear Dr. Andersson:- I am very glad to receive todey your three letters dated March 15, 12 and 23. I am very grateful to Prof. "iman for the trouble he has taken in selecting the duplicates and making casts of the vertebrate fossils which are being formwarded to china. I am also very thankful to you and Prof, Farlgren who spared no plain to see to the carrying out of this work. Tt is indeed wise to address the bis consignment of the mammal fossila to the swedish Consul General in Shanghai in viem of the critical condition now in Peking. I shall communicate with the fonsul "eneral in due time, 1 am sorry for the arrears in the our payment to Dr. Lagrelius. This wes chiefly due to his delay in sending us the printed copies of the tro fascicles of Palaeontologia in ouestion. According to our established usage As you must remember we always n&id here the nrintins nrices on delivery of the volumes or at least against the shipping documents. In the present case I have received yet nothing of the two fascicles (C VI 4 Towe and 0 VI 2 Zåansky), althouch I knew that they have been printed and copies have been alsevS distributed from Sweden.
