The fossils oontalined in this small material did not look very inviting and only the following species could ba distinguished: Cervus sp. Zdansky. Pal. Sin. Ser. C. Vol. V. Fasc. 1. p.l2. A pig determined by Pearson, Pal. Sin. Ser.C, Vol. V, Fasc.5 Pp. 58 as Propotamockserus hyotherioides Schlosser, a determination vhich according to Wiman may be wrong. Equus, a molar of a big species. These fossils do not tell us very much, still I feel that the locality should be carefully examined. There may as in Shou Kou Tien be richly fossiliferous layers in deeper levels. You know that I always maintained that Chou Kou Tien is only one of many similar deposits in clefts and cavernes in the limestone. Yours very truly

This locality is, 1f I am not mistaken, near the Shi Chia Chuang — Taiyuanfu- railway and the locality runs as follows: Loc. 66. July 1922 Ch'uang Ohihli Heing Ching Esien NE ho 11 Ching Shih Ling v 1/2 22 Chih ka Yt. On the backside of this sheet I hava tasted on one of the original lables, At my last visit to Upsala I examined tokether with Professor Fivan the small and relatively insignificant material from this
