ÖY254 March 3let, 1933. Dr. Wong Wen Hao, Director of The Ceological Survey of China, 9, Ping Ma Ssu, pPeiving. Dear Dr. Wong, The 28th inst. Dr. Lagrelius and I paid a visit to Professor Wiman in Upsala in order to see the plaster casts which he had prepared of many important originals, These casts were excellently made and gave in many cases such a complete illusion that you certainly very well can exhibit many of them in your Museum, as for instance the foot and leg of the gigantic Dinosaur Helopus, which should be mounted with each bone in its proper order. The plaster casts are about 180 and I consider it to be a very fine piece of work. The big return consignment consisting of'b boxes containing material selected by Professor Wiman in consultation with Professor Karlgren and me are ready for shipment and will be dispatched together with the boxes with the plaster casts as soon as we receive information that it is safe to send them to Peking. As Professor Wiman had not been informed about their arrival we sent you the 29th inst. the following telegram: Kindly inform us have you received two boxes with fossils from Wiman shipped to you in January by Ekman Foreign Agencies Shanghai Andersson, and are waiting for your reply. Professor Wiman has now text and illustrations for 3 mono- graphs to Palaeontologia Sinica, Zdansky; Fossil Horses, Hopwood; Fossil Elephants, and Stensiö: Fossil Fishes. We are now preparin, an estimate of cost of printing these 3 papers and these estimates will be sent to you in the very near future. With kindest regards to Dr. Ting, Dr. Grabau and all other friends. Very truly yours
