After having received your telegram stating the very reasonable price of your beautiful Ordos-bronzes I have made repeated efforts to raise the funås for buying them, but unfortunately I have sö far met with very 11ttås success due to the general financlal depression. Under these circumstances I have thought it necessary to return the specimens to you. They are now packed and will be shipped by the s/s "öråötningholm", which will leave Gothenburg the 15th of nov. MWe are Making arrangements to have the three american consignments delivered to our: gonsul general who will hand them to you. Your 8 specimens are FR. SR to the value of $ 8.000. I am sending you under separate cover two copies of our guide. book. Vol. V of our Bulletin will be devoted to our exhåbition of Ordos-bronzes and I will write you very soon more in detail asking for permission to reproduce and describe your valuable contributions to our exhibition.
