V / OF, > at po l8th January 1932 Dear äÄr.XZarlbeck, In spite of tre difficulty whieh your reports show ER are finding in obtaining specizens I am provisionsally tekirg a second ehare in the Syndicate, hoping that you may be able to procure for me one or possibly tvo really good bronzeg. Ar I have explained to Nr. Raphael, it is purely for this purpose that I em tsking tle share, and in the event of your being unable to obtain such a bronze or bronzes I went you to be so good ar to errenge for the money of this second ghare to be returned to me. The bronze or broönzes thet I want must be not later than Hen, of good Feting. with a feir snount of decoration (but not, I think, covered 811 over), snå if possible with a contemporary insceription. Even an ingeribed bronze without any decoration exeept of the form would not be acceptable. Shape I leave to you, except that ac I al- Föädy have a good yi I åon't wabpt another of these, and, arc you may remember, I aleo have a moderstely good &huieh (3-1egged vessel for warming wine)end srould not therefore put this av my first eholce. I think I most admire the yu, å, snd tsun (of the latter I see you have särösty got some good speeimene for other members). I should like you to be guided by exesllence of quality rather than by size.
