O2?77, January the l9th 1931. Dr. Perceval Yetts, lh, Aubrey Road, Campåden Hill, VV. 8. London England. Dear Dr. Yetts, I have to acknowleådge with many thanks your two kind letters of January 9th and January 15tn. Ve are very sorry for not beeing able to accord with your wish to publish certain photographs from our praehistorit material. Please allow me Bear Dr. Yetts to explain the reason. Fe are under &n obligation to the Geological Survey of China not to publish anything on the praehistoric material before the respec- tive monographs have appeared in the Palaeontologia Sinica. Your request is so very modest that I would like very much to econform with it,but as I have had quite recently representations from Peking on a couple of such small instances, I feel it beyond my power to conform witn your wish. He are looking forward witn greatest delight to your visit to Stockholm. I understand from the Crown-Prinee that you will be something like a week in this Museum and it goes without saying that
