Fong, I herewith have the pleasure to report to you on the present state of tre archseological publications. There sre at present four of the monögraphs in & more or less advanced stege. 1: J. G. Andersson: Topographie deseription of the preblstorical sites of Northern China. 150 pages, ho landscape plates. /The maps to thls volume are slresåy printed end in sour hand in Peking/. The text is resdy, needing oniy some revision. I would like to print 1t in Peking as tkere will be much Chinese writing in the text. The half tone plates may be better made in Europet I fear that you will consider heliotype to be too expensive. 2: Je G. Andersson sand ä. Palmgren: The Pan Shen grave field, King Ting lisilen, Zansu, and funeral urns of säg Ha Chang stage, 200 p., 30 plates in bleck, 8 col. plates.
