Om, Stockholm, March li. 1939. M.D-R. Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co Ltd. Broadway House, Carter Lane 68-71, London E.C. 4. Dear Sirs, Referring to my letter to you of January 5 I herewith send you a covy of a letter which I herewith address to the Chinese Ambassador in Washington, indicating the way, how I will try to organize the pre- arranged aale of some hundred copies. A similar letter I will send to the Chinese Ambassador in London 1f you consider it advisable to distri- bute free copies to statemen and other influential people also in Great Britain. Hoping to hear from you. Yours very truly P.S. I think that the title suggested in my letter January 5. The renaissance gf China and the war with Japan 1s a little too heavy. Chinas” war of resistance would be a strict and firm title. China fights for democracy may be a more catching title. Please give your opinion on this point. I hope to get the English manuseript or proofs as aoon as such are available. Kindly also send proofs to Dr Hu Shih in Wasington.
