Ost Stockholm, November 9. 1939, His Excellency Dr. Hu Shih, Chinese Ambassador to U.S.A. Chinese Båbassy, Fashington, Dear Doctor Hu Shih, I herewith refer to my letter to you March lth, My book "China fights for the World" is now published and I have now asked the publishing firm (Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Oo,Ltd. Broadway House, 68-7!, Carter Lane, London E.C.4) to send you a copy. If you think that my book gives a fairly correct presentation of the cause of Uhina, you may consider my suggestion to distribute a number of copies to statesmen and congressmen in U.3.A. Eventual- ly it would be better to have the copies sent not from your embasey but "with the authef"s compliments", distributed directly from the publisher. In such a case the copies at a reduced price and the cost of distribution will have to be provided for from some Ghinese source, You know that Dr. Wong Wen,hao was prepared to support such a scheme by Dr. H.H. Kung, With kindest regards Yours very truly
