RR Wi Dear Sir, I am desired to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the l0th inst., returning 23 of the photographs which were sent to you. I have enouired into the points mentioned in your letter and find:- 1. The sending of four numbers in duplicate was a mistake, for which I am very sorry. 2. The nineteen photographs which you say you did not order are understood to be those which you selected from the stock at our photograph stall in the Galleries, and asked to be put aside and sent to you with the others which you were or ing. As you do not now require them, however, I am returning these to our stock. 3, The numbers which you state were ordered by you but not sent, do not all appear in your list, and I am sorry that only six of them are available.
