0303, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON COURTAULD INSTITUTE OF ART 20 PORTMAN SQ., LONDON, W.1 WELBECK = 1388-9 (2 Lines). 2 April 1955. Dear Professor Andersson, Many thanks for your letter of the 28th ult., I have had a talk with Mr. Hellström to-day and have explained to him in greater detail the situation. It does not appear that for some time yet we shall be in a position to select the fdlgects which you so kindly offer, since we do not know what to expect from China, Japan and America. As you very rightly observe in your letter, should objects be borrowed for exhibition and then not put on show, the owners would naturally be dissatisfied. I expect next week to have another talk with Mr. Hellström, and no doubt he will have a chance of reporting to you more fully than I can in a letter. Uugonla cv Yours sincerely, DR Professor J,. G. Andersson, Östasiatiska Samlingarna, Sveavägen 65, Stockholm.
