I see, however, that you mention in your letter K.184 Dagger with jade blade, XK,184 is not a dagger but a Knife from Chengtefu. Length 275 mm. Knife and handle form a double curve, On the back a comblike ridge with broad "teeth" every other one of which is hooked. On each side of the blad & long band composed of two kuei-dragons. Green and brown patina. Further you mention 124, which is a m /wine bottle in Huei style/. You have forgotten some objects, and amongst same I want specially to mention the libation oup, Chiioh, which is very nice and you looked at it specially. I bought it quite recently from Karlbeck, and I thing this piece ought to be sent over being such a good ones You have also forgotten the silver bowl with cover, inlaid with gold, No, 840 in my colleotion. 3 — 0024, Sweden. June löth, 1935. H/M. II LJ Leigh Ashton Esq., Londons. dagsger bought through Palmgren and a large one which you picked out yourself with handle inlaid with turquoises. I think these two daggers are good and ought to be shown. I thought I should just mention these things to you so that you can discuss them when your Committee meets in London. Further, I send you enelosed photographs of the two Bamboo paintings at the Röhsska Museum and also of the glass bowl whieh you saw at the same museum. I also send you a photo of the bronze tripod with the rope round the body and the cover with the interesting band of kaori shells from Röhsska Museum, and photo of 2 pots with chain handles from the same museum No, 18052/15 not being so nice in the patination but No.1l1l15/15 has a better patination and is more interesting. I think that this completes the list that you sent me, and I shall be glad to hear your decision when I come over to Londons. I will be in London at the Carlton Hotel on July the lst, and if we on that date could decide upon a date when you, Professor Yetts, I and perhaps somebody else could meet and come to a final decision about these things I should be very glad. Perhaps we eould then also discuss the things that you have decided upon to get from Stockholms. Meanwhile believe me, dear Mr. Ashton, Yours sincerely
