Dear Professor Andersson, I was delighted to get your prompt reply and at the request of our Chairman, Sir Harold Wernher, I beg to offer our grateful thanks to you for so kindly consenting in giving a Lecture to the Anglo-Swedish Society. I sent a wire this morning accepting your kind offer in giving a& Lecture on "Current Research on early Chinese Art." This will be a most interesting subject especially now when everybody here in London ee is so interested in the fortheoming Chinese Exhibition. TI hope it will not be too much trouble for you to bring the lantern slides. Tuesday December the ård at 5 p.m.« would be a suitable date, if convenient to you. If you have some suggestion to make with regard fr to Chairman, please let me know. Otherwise I will approach a suitable person over here. I also beg to inform you that our Annual Dinner will teke place at the Dorchester Hotel on November 27th at which Their Royal Hignesses The Crown Prince and The Crown Princess of Sweden will be present and we very much hope that you will honour the Society in accepting an invitation to this function.
