05034 Stockholm August 17th 1931. Nr Fredric Warburg, Broadwav House, 68-74 CarteråLane, London E.C.l;. Dear lir Warburg, I tnink thet there nave been many reviews of my book / Chizsåren of the yellow earth/ end I would feel quite plersed to read them. If you nave a collection of suck reviews could you kindly send them. They will be promptly returned to you. For my personal use I may reed some furtner copies of the bock. From Ny Swedish publisher I can buy copies at half of the market price snd I hope thet you will kindly offer me some such reduction. Frienås who have just returned from China tell that trere is con- siderable interest in this book. Do you feel thet you have full re- presentatiöo in China and Japan? Otherwise I will be quite pleased to offer my service. May I call your attention to a new publication, "Quar- terly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography", editbd by tne National Library of Peiping. There is an English edition mentioning all foreign books on China. Dr Jolin C. Ferguson, a very influenthal American, bas written a full review of "All Men Are Brotuiers" translated by Pearl 3. Buck. I think that a letter to Dr Ferguson should best be addressed to the American Legation, Peiping.
