Cleaning and conservation report. D-nr 16455013 .08/01/1995. General condition: dirty with dust and very hard calcareous deposits from soil. Has large fatty spots on both outside and inside. Surface corrosion layer is rather even, but not smooth; corrosion is mostly of bright dark blue color + dark green underneath + separate spots of lighter green. Jar has two dents on one side. Object's thin wall has cracked and split at one of the dents. No active corrosion. Treatment: cleaned mechanically with scalpel, small soft rotating bristle and steel brushes, under magnification. Fatty spots are removed with acetone.
