  • Owl skyphos. Plain rim; rather deep, bulging body, tapering downwards; horizontal, horseshoe shaped handles below rim; ring base. Reddish brown clay; black glaze; red wash. A and B: an owl with large, round eyes, covered with black dots flanked by olive twigs; below a reserved band; resting surface reserved; a black circle and a central dot on the reserved underside.
