Laurel wreath encircling rim; reserved band below; on one side of body a woman seated on a rock, holding an open cista in her right hand; in the upper field to the left a “window”, to the right a fillet; rosettes as filling ornaments; on the opposite ... Visa hela Bell krater. Overhanging rim; deep body; rolled-back handles; narrow, concave stem; high disc base in two degrees. Buff clay; black glaze; red wash. Laurel wreath encircling rim; reserved band below; on one side of body a woman seated on a rock, holding an open cista in her right hand; in the upper field to the left a “window”, to the right a fillet; rosettes as filling ornaments; on the opposite side a naked youth, a mantle hanging over his left arm, wearing a wreath, and holding a phiale in his right hand and a wreath in his left; in the upper field to the right a “window” and below a plant; on both sides the figures are flanked by tendrils; above both handles a reserved panel; rays at base of handles; palmettes beneath handles; wave pattern on lower body; upper member of base reserved.
