  • Attic pattern lekythos. Cup mouth with straight sides; narrow neck; sloping shoulder; vertical band handle from neck to shoulder; cylindrical body, tapering downwards; tall disc base. Red clay; red ochre wash; black glaze, largely misfired to red. Mouth and outside of handle painted; on shoulder one row of bars and one of rays; body and base black; upper edge of base reserved.
