Fine, buff clay; buff slip; brown, orange-brown and maroon paint. Rim, neck and handles brown; broad, buff band on shoulder with three light brown and maroon birds on each side of the vase, incised details; below birds, brown band with large, incised maroon guillo... Visa hela Torus-shaped rim; flaring neck; ovoid body, tapering downwards; vertical, sliced handles from mid-neck to shoulder; tall, conical base. Fine, buff clay; buff slip; brown, orange-brown and maroon paint. Rim, neck and handles brown; broad, buff band on shoulder with three light brown and maroon birds on each side of the vase, incised details; below birds, brown band with large, incised maroon guilloche band; on body large, brown to orange field with incised scales-pattern, each scale containing a maroon blob, the top row of scales extends onto buff band; below scale-pattern another buff band; below this, three brown bands alternating with maroon lines and finally a buff line; tongue pattern of alternating maroon and brown, rounded toungues on lowest part of body and base.
