Name and identification of character
A member of the drummer's family called Ediriccari (Sin.).

Context
The episode of the drummer's family, Anabera Kolama (Sin.) (See Preface) in Kolam. See also 1916.9.82, 83, 85, 88.

Material
Wood, Vel-kaduru (Nux vomica).

Iconography
A low cut turban with the same shape and decorative motif as in 1916.9.82, 83, 85, 88. The turban is in the shape of an uramava, worn by the drummers in Kolam. It is decorated with two painted layers in geometric patterns. The two ends of the turban extend downwards to the ears. The face is painted lemon yellow. The mask appears to be repainted with more modern paint. The nose is straight. One row of teeth is painted in white with black lines amidst open lips painted in pink. Prominent sideburns, typical of higher ranks of officials, extend downward covering the cheeks. The ears are shaped with two slabs of wood.
